Entrepreneurship

We approach entrepreneurship as a path for building wealth and increasing the educational attainment of women and the global majority, i.e., “Black, Indigenous, and People of Color” (BIPOC), which represent over 80% of the world’s population. Our goal is to equip a diverse group of women and girls with financial literacy and planning acumen, business development and management skills, and the “soft skills” required to approach entrepreneurship with the communication and interpersonal skills and social emotional skills to achieve their goals with complementary educational backgrounds and a growth mindset attitude. And we believe this work starts with the inclusion of age-appropriate entrepreneurial skill building career and technical education across the K-12 grade levels – and our services are designed to meet the needs of women and girls across the age spectrum.

Most public and private schools do not teach what should be the centerpiece of education: entrepreneurship, the capacity to not only start companies but also to think creatively and ambitiously. An entrepreneurship-focused education can help middle and high-school age girls develop crucial life skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom walls.
